一、昨日基石
本校創立於民國42年，至今也有60餘年的歷史，歷年來由於歷任校長的銳意經營，全體師生齊心努力，以及社區人士、家長的熱心參與。隨時提供各項資源，使得本校無論在硬體軟體方面皆有長足的進步，校務得以蒸蒸日上，成為莘莘學子嚮往的童年樂園。

二、學校沿革
民國42年10月1日，奉准設立分校屬永定國校。 民國45年9月1日奉准獨立，定名為雲林縣二崙鄉義賢國民學校。 民國57年8月1日改制為雲林縣二崙鄉義賢國民小學。
B. History
On October 1, 1953, this school was founded as a branch of the Yong-Ding Elementary School. On September 1, 1956, it was permitted as an independent school, which was named Yi-Sian National Elementary School of Er-Lung village of Yun-Lin County. It was then changed to Yi-Sian Elementary School of Er-Lung village of Yun-Lin County on August 1, 1968.
三、地理位置
本校位於西螺大橋、自強大橋之間，後臨濁水溪，為二崙鄉郊外偏遠小學，空氣清新，花木扶疏，綠草如茵，是讀書的好地方。
C. Geography
The school is located between the Hsi-Lo Bridge and the Zi-Qiang Bridge, near the Zhuo-Shui River. It is a remote elementary school in the countryside of Er-Lung village. It is a marvelous studying place with fresh air, flourishing plants, and green grass.
四、學區環境
學區由楊賢村與義庄兩村所組成，家長大半以農為生，尤以種植西瓜、蔬菜具特色，經濟繁榮，民風淳樸，尤其熱心教育，對本校貢獻良多。
D. School Environment
This school region is formed by Yang-Sian Village and Yi-Zhuang Village. The majority of parents rely on agriculture for a living. This region has a fame for watermelons and vegetables, which have brought in visitors and wealth. The friendly culture and people who are zealous in education both have made great contributions to this school.
